Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Ups are my new favorite snack. I love the sweetness of the peanut butter with the crunchiness of the granola. Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Ups are filling served as a lunch or appetizer. It only takes a few minutes to make these roll ups, so you can have a satisfying snack, lunch or appetizer tray in minutes.
First, spread the peanut butter on a flour tortilla, leaving about a 1/2-inch edge. Next, sprinkle the granola on top of the peanut butter. Then, starting on one edge, roll the tortilla. Once rolled, give the tortilla a gentle squeeze to help it stay rolled up. Then, slice the tortilla into two pieces. The roll up is easier to hold when eating if it is a smaller piece. Serve and enjoy!
I purchase Swiss Granola for my roll ups. It includes raspberry bits. You can use any granola that you prefer. There are lots of varieties of granola in my local grocery store cereal aisle. One of the varieties had chocolate bits. I was tempted to try it!
Occasionally, in the evening, I make one Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Up for my husband to take to work the next day. The granola stays crunchy. The tortilla stays soft as long as it is wrapped tightly. I've made the roll ups in the morning and packed them as part of a picnic lunch, too. They hold up well for picnics.
I saw a recipe for Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Ups quite a while ago and they looked so good. The recipe is easy, so I remembered it. I tried to find my original source but didn't see the one I initially discovered. There are so many versions of peanut butter roll up recipes out there. A lot of the recipes that I found include drizzling honey on top of the granola. I don't think the honey is needed. You can certainly give it a try, though!
Most of the time when I make this recipe, I use just peanut butter and granola. I sometimes mix it up a bit and add thinly sliced apple or banana. So the apple does not brown, I give it a dip in lemon juice first.
Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Ups make a tasty appetizer. Slice the tortilla into bite site pieces and secure with a toothpick. They go great with Sugared Nuts and Pretzels Snack Mix and/or Mozzarella Cubes.

Peanut Butter and Granola Roll Ups
- 6 tablespoons peanut butter I use creamy.
- 6 tablespoons granola
- 2 flour tortillas, 8-inch
- Lay one tortilla flat on a plate.
- Spread half of the peanut butter on the tortilla, leaving about a 1/2 inch edge.
- Sprinkle half of the granola on top of the peanut butter.
- Starting with one side, roll the tortilla tightly. Once it is rolled, give it a gentle squeeze to help the tortilla stay rolled up.
- If you like, slice the tortilla in half and lay on a plate with the seam side down.
- Repeat with the other tortilla.
