Cup Of Hot Apple Cider

 

Hot Apple Cider is a delicious, hot beverage to enjoy during the fall.  It makes your house smell so good, too!

 

Simply simmer apple cider with cinnamon sticks, allspice, clove and some orange slices for a couple of hours.  Then, strain into individual mugs or any other heat proof container. 

 

If you are making Hot Apple Cider for a crowd, you can double, triple or quadruple the recipe.  You can put all of the ingredients in a crock pot on low and let it simmer for a few hours.  When I make Hot Apple Cider in a crock pot, I leave a strainer and heat proof mugs by the crock pot so the guests can serve themselves. It's always a big hit.

Instructions
  1. Put all of the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat for about two hours.
  2. Strain the cider into heatproof mugs or a pitcher.
  3. Enjoy!
